For the past several weeks, I've been writing to you about responsibility.

About the women who lead without always being called leaders.

About what responsibility asks of our bodies and our relationships.

About competence, striving, discernment, faith and the long game.

And behind the scenes, I've been creating something.

It began with a question:

What would happen if women who carry significant responsibility had a place to become wiser together?

Not another room where we need to impress each other (although we will shine).

Not another place to collect trivial information (although we will learn).

A place for meaningful conversation with women who understand what it is to carry responsibility—and who want their faith to genuinely inform the way they live and lead.

The clearest language I've found for what I hope this community can support is this:

To become the kind of women who can carry significant responsibility with wisdom, faithfulness and wholeness—without sacrificing ourselves or the people we love.

That's the table I've been preparing.

And this fall, I'm ready to begin gathering the women who will sit around it.

If something in these past several weeks has been speaking to you, I invite you to apply for Around the Table. You can read all the details and apply here.  Early Bird pricing is available through Friday, October 2nd.

If you've been reading these emails and quietly thinking, I want to be part of conversations like these, I hope you'll consider raising your hand.

Around the Table

For weeks, this section has been my way of letting you see behind the scenes while I've been listening, questioning, praying, shaping and sometimes changing my mind.

Now comes the part I've been most curious about.

Who will actually be around the table?

Some of these women don't know one another yet.

They come from different professions and different kinds of responsibility. Some have leadership titles. Others don't.

But I hope there will be a moment, somewhere early in our time together, when a woman looks around that table and realizes:

I don't have to explain why. They already understand.

That's the community I want to create. I hope you will join me.
