120-Minute Somatic Bodywork Membership — 6-Month Agreement
1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing or enrolling in the 120-Minute Somatic Bodywork Membership (“Membership”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. This agreement is entered into between Gin Burchfield, PCC, NBCHWC, doing business as Gin Burchfield Coaching (“Practitioner,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and you, the client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”).
Your purchase and participation confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
2. Nature of Somatic Bodywork
Somatic bodywork is an integrative approach designed to support nervous system regulation, body awareness, emotional integration, and physical relaxation. Sessions may include a combination of somatic coaching, polarity therapy, craniosacral therapy, guided meditation, somatic movement, and energy-based practices.
These services are intended to support well-being and personal development. They are not a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, psychotherapy, diagnosis, or medical advice.
You understand and agree that:
- The Practitioner does not diagnose illness or disease.
- The Practitioner does not prescribe medications or medical treatment.
- The Practitioner does not provide psychotherapy or licensed mental health services.
- You are responsible for seeking appropriate medical or mental health care when needed.
3. Scope of Membership Services
This Membership includes:
- Two (2) 120-minute somatic bodywork sessions per month
- Access to a secure client portal for scheduling, payments, and session resources
- A session strategy form prior to each appointment
Sessions are scheduled through the private client portal and occur at mutually agreed-upon times based on Practitioner availability.
4. Membership Term & Commitment
This Membership is a 6-month commitment beginning on the date of purchase.
By enrolling, you agree to maintain your membership and associated payments for the full 6-month term.
The Membership fee is:
$700 per month for six (6) months
Payments are automatically billed monthly through the payment method provided at purchase.
Membership fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
5. Scheduling, Cancellation & Session Use
Clients are responsible for scheduling their sessions through the client portal.
The following scheduling policies apply:
- A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule an appointment.
- Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be forfeited.
- Missed appointments without notice are considered completed sessions.
Each Membership includes two sessions per calendar month.
Unused sessions do not roll over into the following month.
6. Client Responsibilities
By participating in somatic bodywork sessions, you agree to:
- Arrive on time and prepared for your scheduled session.
- Complete session preparation forms when requested.
- Communicate openly about your experiences and needs.
- Respect the professional boundaries of the Practitioner.
- Provide accurate information regarding your health and well-being.
Clients are responsible for their own personal growth, choices, and integration of session insights.
7. Practitioner Responsibilities
The Practitioner commits to:
- Providing a supportive and professional environment.
- Practicing within the scope of somatic bodywork and coaching expertise.
- Maintaining professional standards and ethical conduct.
- Protecting client privacy and confidentiality.
- Holding space for clients with respect, compassion, and integrity.
8. Physical Safety & Health Disclosure
Somatic bodywork involves gentle touch, body awareness practices, and nervous system regulation techniques.
By participating, you acknowledge that you are responsible for informing the Practitioner of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, physical limitations, pregnancy, or health concerns that may affect your participation.
You agree to immediately communicate any discomfort or concerns during a session.
Participation in somatic bodywork services is voluntary, and you may request modifications or pause a session at any time.
9. Professional Ethics
Gin Burchfield practices in accordance with professional ethical standards including:
- The International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics
- The National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) Code of Ethics
- The ethical and professional standards recognized by the North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy
These standards include maintaining professional boundaries, honoring client autonomy, acting with integrity, maintaining confidentiality, and prioritizing the well-being of clients.
10. Confidentiality & Privacy
Your privacy is respected and protected.
Information shared during sessions or through the client portal will be treated as confidential except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent imminent harm.
Confidential information may be disclosed in the following circumstances:
- When required by law or court order
- When there is risk of serious harm to the client or others
- When reporting abuse or neglect as required by law
Client information is stored using secure systems designed to protect sensitive information and maintain confidentiality consistent with HIPAA-informed privacy practices.
11. Scope of Practice & Professional Regulation
Somatic bodywork services are provided in accordance with the professional standards and scope of practice defined by the North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy (NCBTMB).
Gin Burchfield is a licensed massage and bodywork therapist in the State of North Carolina and practices in accordance with applicable state regulations governing massage and bodywork therapy.
Services offered are intended to support relaxation, stress reduction, body awareness, nervous system regulation, and personal development. These services do not replace licensed medical, psychological, or psychiatric care.
Clients should consult appropriate healthcare providers for medical conditions or concerns.

12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Practitioner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in services.
Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by the Client for the Membership.
Clients assume responsibility for their own decisions, actions, and outcomes resulting from participation.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the full agreement between the Practitioner and Client regarding the Membership and supersede any prior discussions or representations.
